Properly balancing your camera on HeadPLUS ensures optimal performance and smooth motion control. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you set it up.
How to Attach and Balance Your Camera
- Align the Bracket:
- Make sure the channel on the bracket aligns with the lip on HeadPLUS.
- Place the bracket correctly and tighten the screw to secure it.
- Mount the Camera:
- Position your camera onto the screw on the bracket.
- Tighten the bottom screw to secure your camera firmly.
- Adjust Front-to-Back Balance:
- Check if the camera tilts forward or backward when released.
- If it tilts:
- Loosen the bracket screw.
- Reposition the camera to correct the balance.
- Tighten the screw again.
- Adjust Vertical Balance:
- If the camera cannot stay upright vertically:
- Loosen the connection on HeadPLUS.
- Adjust until you find the correct balance.
- Retighten securely.
- If the camera cannot stay upright vertically:
- Using the Riser Piece (for Large Lenses):
- If balancing is difficult due to a large lens diameter:
- Attach the Riser Piece to the camera first.
- Then secure the camera with the Riser onto the bracket.
