Using the HeadPLUS Upside Down on a Jib

You can easily use your HeadPLUS mounted upside down on a jib to achieve creative camera angles. Follow these steps to set it up safely:

How to Mount HeadPLUS Upside Down on a Jib

  1. Lock the Jib:

    • Make sure the jib is locked at the center so that vertical (up-down) movements are restricted.
  2. Remove Accessories:

    • Disconnect the laser module and focus/zoom module cables, as cable arrangements will change during the process.
  3. Invert the Head:

    • Loosen the screw at the tip of the jib while supporting the camera securely.
    • Gently tilt the assembly down until it is completely upside down.
    • Once inverted, re-tighten the screw.
  4. Adjust the Head Orientation:

    • Pan the HeadPLUS by 180 degrees.
    • Tilt the camera also by 180 degrees.
  5. Reconnect Accessories:

    • Reattach the cables; note that the ports are now on the front side.
    • Reinstall the laser module if needed.

Summary

Now your HeadPLUS is correctly configured to work upside down on a jib, enabling unique shooting perspectives with full motion control functionality.
