Setting Turntable Anchor Points
When using a Turntable in Point Tracking Mode, it’s important to correctly set Anchor Points.
This ensures that tracking remains accurate even after moving your tripod or adjusting your setup.
How to Set Turntable Anchor Points
- Choose a Point on the Turntable:
- Select a point on the closer half of the turntable (not the far side).
- Aim your camera so the point is centered on the screen.
- Teach the Point from Two Angles:
- Press the physical button on HeadPLUS once.
- Move your camera slightly to a different angle.
- Press the button once more to confirm.
- Rotate the Turntable:
- Move the turntable to a new position.
- Aim at the same point again.
- Repeat the two-angle teaching process.
✅ After completing this, your Turntable Anchor Point calibration is done!
Tracking After Calibration
- When you place a subject on the turntable and teach a point on it:
- Point tracking works not only with body motions but also while the turntable rotates.
What Happens if You Move the Tripod?
- If the tripod moves, previously taught points may lose alignment.
- Use the Reposition button in the app:
- Re-teach the original anchor point using two angles again.
- This realigns your turntable center perfectly.
Summary
Using Turntable Anchor Points helps maintain seamless tracking, even after repositioning equipment, ensuring continuous and professional motion control.
