Using Anchor Points in Point Tracking Mode
When working in Point Mode, moving your tripod typically requires resetting all points.
To prevent this, the Anchor Point feature was designed — especially useful when using three or more points in your shot.
How to Set Up Anchor Points
- Select Your Anchor Points:
- Choose two points that will always remain visible during the entire shoot.
- For example, in a demo setup, two fixed green dots on a table were used.
- Teach the Anchor Points:
- First, aim at the first anchor point and mark it from two different angles.
- Second, move to the second anchor point and mark it also from two different angles.
Important:
Remember the teaching order!
You must re-teach the points in the same order after moving the tripod.
Using Anchor Points After Moving the Tripod
- After moving the tripod, press the Reposition button.
- The system will guide you to re-teach your anchor points:
- First point (two angles).
- Second point (two angles).
- Once completed, your previously taught points (even up to six or more) will realign automatically.
Why Anchor Points Matter
- Save time by avoiding full re-teaching.
- Maintain seamless tracking even after changing your camera setup position.
- Essential for complex or multi-point tracking workflows.
